6 years of experience living and traveling in Colombia as well as other parts of Latin America. After completing a degree in media production Carl quickly became disillusioned with the corporate media world and decided that his real passion was travel. He immediately set about realizing his dream of traveling around the world on a shoestring including a year in Brazil and frequent trips to Colombia. After a period of journeying and exploring he returned to his native London where he met his wife-to-be, Andrea, and re-trained in social work. In 2006 Carl and Andrea married in Bogota and they soon found they wanted to spend more and more of their time there. Eventually they decided to take the leap and move there permanently, along with their children Santiago and Gabriela
