Amazon Village

Situated 30km from Manaus on the banks of Puraquequara Lake, the Village has 16 wooden bungalows, with 2 rooms in each and all with private facilities. There is a restaurant, bar, leisure area, library and mini-zoo. There is no electricity, alternative forms of energy are used.

The journey from Manaus is made by car / coach and then a 2½ hour boat trip via the meeting of the waters, where the Solimões and Negro Rivers converge. Daily excursions include: Jungle treks, fishing trips, visits to caboclos (native houses) and caiman spotting by torchlight.
