Cruise through the
stunning fjords and channels of Tierra del Fuego and Patagonia,
via the Straits of Magellan, the Beagle Channel. Pass breathtaking,
desolate lands of icy waters and glaciers, and visit the two southernmost
settlements in the world.
Recently buildt for 132 passangers,
63 cabins with large windows. Daily presentations are given on
the history, geology and fauna and flora of the region. |

transfers to/from airport or hotel in Punta Arenas, cabin of your
choise, full board, open bar and excursions.
It is possible to travel from Ushuaia to Punta Arenas (Wed to Sat
- 4 days/3nights)or vice versa (Sat to Wed - 5 days/4nights). |

During the cruise, there will
be daily inland tours lasting approximately two hours.
These tours are organized and managed
by the Mare Australis Expedition Group and consist of walks through
trails in the native forest and visits to glaciers.
The tours include talks on the
flora and fauna of the area. A delicious whisky with the millenary
ice, or a cup of hot chocolate will be served at the end of the
excursions. |

The Mare Australis has: 63 exterior
cabins 161 sq ft. each (doubles). Cabins are classified in 3 categories
depending on location in the ship: AA, A and B.
