Sales Consultant

We are looking for a Sales Consultant to organise bespoke tour itineraries for our clients requiring expert knowledge and advice. You must have an infectious passion for the way of “Life in Latin America” matching your experience with customer needs.

We prefer applicants who have travelled in Latin America and are educated to degree level and/or with previous experience in sales in the travel industry. Or people who have been tour leading groups in Latin America and now want to continue their career in tourism, based in London with the possibility of tour leading groups occasionally.

Applicants need to have:

Travel experience and good general knowledge of Latin America. (University Graduate with Degree in Latin America Studies is an advantage).
Empathy with people, which at Veloso Tours means providing excellent customer service, showing an understanding of people's needs and finding ways to meet and exceed them.
Ability to meet tight deadlines working with energy under pressure
Ability to solve problems and think creatively
Ability to work and communicate with a team of colleagues with various functions in the office and abroad within the Veloso Tours organisation
Salary from £18,000 p.a. based on knowledge and experience.
