A scenic,
unforgettable railway journey from Chihuahua to Los Mochis,
via the breathtaking Copper Canyon. A remarkable feat of engineering
which took almost 90 years to complete, takes you through 88 tunnels
and over 39 bridges, passing a dramatic range of landscapes.

Day 1 Depart from Chihuahua or
Los Mochis Day 1 Arrival at Chihuahua airport where you will be met
and taken to your hotel, spend the rest of the day at leisure.

| Day
2 Transfer to train station, our journey leads us through the Tarahumara
Mountain Range, passing striking scenery. The train wends its way
through canyons and mountains, the views arresting as they pass us by,
and the precipitous sides, hair-raising. We arrive at the village of Creel
in the late afternoon and transfer to our hotel.

Day
3 Spend the morning at leisure, or take an optional tour to the area
where the Tarahumara Indians live. Having lived in isolated pockets, and
originally cave-dwellers and nomads, they have retained their traditions
and beliefs. Transfer to the train station for a short trip to Divisadero.
Day 4 Spend the morning at the
breathtaking Copper Canyon, deeper than the Grand Canyon and
arguably more impressive. In the early afternoon continue by train through
yet more spectacular scenery, over the hair-raising Río Fuerte Bridge,
past the desert dotted with cacti, and on to Los Mochis.
Day 5 Breakfast and depart for
return flight.
