Days 1-3
Depart any day of the week on an overnight flight to Buenos Aires. On arrival transfer to our hotel. Spend the afternoon on a guided tour of the city, visiting 'El Caminito' famed for its brightly decorated houses in La Bocadistrict, and the grand avenues in the centre, giving Buenos Aires the title 'Paris of Latin America'. You then have a day free to explore at leisure. (B)

Days 4-5
A morning flight to the immense Iguazú Falls, set in tropical rainforest where walkways take us over the numerous falls which make up this great natural wonder. Birds and butterflies abound in the lush surroundings where we have the afternoon and following morning at leisure, before returning to Buenos Aires for 1 night.(B)

Days 6-8
Fly to Trelew and transfer to Puerto Madryn on the Atlantic coast. Our excursions to the Península Valdés, a naturalist's delight, where we view sea lion colonies, elephant seals and, depending on the season, take a boat into the bay to observe the southern right whales. On Day 8 Fly to Argentina's southernmost city, Ushuaia, for 2 nights. (B)

Days 9-10
Two half day excursions to Lapataia National Park and a boat trip on the Beagle Channel. The following morning, fly out of Ushuaia, over the Beagle Channel to Calafate, where we spend 3 nights by Lago Argentino. (B)

Days 11-12
Spend the day admiring the massive Perito Moreno glacier, where the silence is disturbed only by the creaking, groaning mass of ice which splinters, forming icebergs as we watch. Optional full day excursion by boat on the lake for walks in Patagonia and see Upsala Glacier. (B)

Days 13-14
Overnight in Buenos Aires. Take our return flight the following day, arriving home on Day 15. (B)
