We provide authentic experiences to enhance your visit with an in-depth perspective of local life, people and culture.
Guatemala's elegant former capital, Antigua, makes a comfortable base for sorties into the highland area to enjoy the country's principal Indian market and savour Lake Atitlán's peaceful atmosphere. Across the border in Honduras, Copán's richly detailed carvings provide extraordinary insights into its history. Back in Guatemala, a jungle river trip leads to the isolated sites of El Ceibal and Aguateca, while at Tikal the magnificent pyramids of the biggest Mayan site of all soar above the surrounding lush rainfores. There is no more comprehensive view of Guatemala's Mayan sites than this.
