Visit the essential and distinct regions of Mexico at a leisurely pace. The cosmopolitan city of Mexico City provides an insight into modern life, history and Aztec pyramids. Journey south to the Yucatan, where the colonial past blends with magnificent Mayan archaeological sites dotted between sleepy country villages and nature reserves. Enjoy the beautiful Caribbean sun, warm sea and soft sand.

Depart everyday on your flight to Mexico City. On arrival in the evening you will be met and taken to your hotel for 4 nights with three full days for optional excursions to explore the City, its Colonial and Aztec heritage. Visit the magnificent pyramids of Teotihuacán, the Anthropology Museum, the Floating Gardens of Xochimilco (on Sundays), the Chapultepec park and the Zocalo main square. This is a cosmopolitan city with excellent restaurants, shops, unique cuisine and the Bohemian Zona Rosa. Mexican are truly passionate about their folklore. (B)
Days 5-8
Transfer to the airport and flight south to Mérida in the Yucatán peninsula where you will be met and taken to your hotel for 4 nights. Three full days at leisure, to explore the colonial city, surrounding countryside and the archaeological sites of Uxmal, Kabah or Edzna. (B)
Days 9-12
Early morning departure to visit the archaeological site of Chichén Itzá; in the afternoon continue to the Caribbean coast for 4 nights relaxing by the beach. (B)
Day 13
Transfer to Cancún airport for your flight home, arriving the following day 14 .
