This 24 room lodge is located in a 120 hectare private reserve and 3 hours by boat from the nearest town Puerto Maldonado.
night itinerary:
4 days • 3 nights
- Day 1
On arrival at Puerto Maldonado Airport, transfer to the Tambopata River for a 3 hour boat trip to the lodge. Evening excursion to search for caimans. - Days 2 & 3
At dawn we canoe around the lake to observe the wildlife, such as giant otters & turtles. The afternoon we walk different nature trails with an expert guide. The following day witness the parrots' morning rush on the clay-lick, lunch and walk to canopy tower to observe the canopy birds. - Day 4
Return to Puerto Maldonado.
