Nasca Lines
UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Nazca Lines are a series of ancient geoglyps located in the Nazca Desert and date back to 400 and 650 AD. There are hudreds of individual figures from simple lines to elaborate forms of animals.

night itinerary:

2 days • 1 night

  • Day 1
    Early morning drive to Ica and continue to Nasca for your flight over the legendary Nasca Lines, an unexplained, intricate collection of immense drawings in the desert. Return to Ica for the night.
  • Day 2
    An early start to drive to Paracas to take a boat out to the Ballestas Islands, a hive of bird and sea lion activity. Return to Lima, stopping en route for lunch.

  • Day 1
    Depart from Lima on a coastal drive to Paracas, stopping at a vantage point or 'mirador' to view the sea lions. Overnight in Paracas.
  • Day 2
    A morning boat trip out from Paracas to the Ballestas Islands, which swarm with a variety of seabirds and sea lions playing. Continue on to the oasis at Ica and then to Nasca for 1 night.
  • Day 3
    Early morning flight over the spectacular Nasca Lines before returning to Lima.
