Stay 3, 4 or 7 nights at the Kapawi Ecolodge in a double cabaña with its own solar heated shower, full board (drinks not included). From your terrace you will be able to observe the wildlife in the area. The lodge is built on the edge of the Kapawi Lagoon and its cabañas built on stilts in order to minimize the impact caused to the surrounding vegetation. The entire lodge is powered by solar energy.

Itineraries included visits to the Achuar Communities (to whom the Lodge will be given in the year 2011), hikes in the rainforest, canoeing and bird watching. Itineraries vary according to the interests and physical condition of the group.

Easy Program: Include short hikes in the rainforest (up to 3 hours). Visits to the Achuar communities. Trips in canoes. Meals are served in the lodge or light meals are taken for the trip.

Moderate Program: Include medium-distance hikes in the rain forest. Trips in canoes. Visits to the Achuar communities. Light meals are taken for the journey or typical Achuar dishes are served in their communities.

Difficult Program: Demanding hikes of many hours or days in poorly defined and often flooded trails. Porters will carry food and supplies. Overnight stays are in tents or in the Achuar communities. Exploration journeys to virgin areas are occasionally offered. Trips on inaccessible rivers are done in inflatable rafts. Excellent physical condition is required.
