Kiaroa is situated on the on the Peninsula de Marau, in the Baia de Camamu eco-sanctuary. The area is beautiful and largely untouched; the biggest village on the peninsula has around 500 inhabitants. There are many sites of interest for those wishing to explore, such as waterfalls, natural sculptures, small islands and reefs. The resort itself is set among lush gardens and abundant palm trees right by the beach and blends harmoniously with its surroundings. Whilst they appear natural the Polynesian style thatched bungalows are also sophisticated, each individually decorated, and have a good range of private facilities. Kiaroa has a large swimming pool, tennis court, library and a restaurant offering international cuisine and local seafood. (breakfast included)
There is no bank on the peninsula so it is recommended that you bring any cash you might need with you.
