The Aconcagua Hotel is located in a residential area of Mendoza, a good place to relax and explore the city and surrounding area. The hotel features 121 standard rooms, 29 deluxe rooms and 9 suites each equipped with cable television, mini -bar, safety box, telephone and central air-conditioning individually controlled. The Los Parrales restaurant serves excellent and varied national food, together with the best and well-known wines from Mendoza.

The magnificent bodega, designed for both form and function in the shape of a cross, allows for customized gentle handling of the grapes, reducing the distance wine needs to be moved between winemaking steps. Each of the wings is a small winery with two levels-a ground level that houses stainless steel tanks and French wooden vats for fermentation and storage, and an underground level for aging wine in oak casks. The two levels allow wine to flow from the tanks to the barrels by a traditional gravity transfer system. The four wings converge in a circular central chamber, which resembles an amphitheater and was inspired by ancient classical temples.

The Salentein estate consists of 2,000 hectares (4,942 acres), 455 hectares (1,124 acres) of which are planted to grapes in three estate fincas. The fincas, which are cultivated at a range of elevations among the highest in the world,

Posada Salentein is located in Finca La Pampa (La Pampa Estate) within Salentein property in Tunuyán, 100 km south from Mendoza city.

 

Posada Salentein offers visits and wine tastings at Bodega Salentein, horseback rides in Finca San Pablo (San Pablo Estate), walks around our vineyards, as well as relax by the swimming pool.
"Los Sarmientos" and "Los Zarcillos" are the two country houses in the Posada. There are eight rooms each with private bathroom. "Los Zarcillos" has a living-room with a big fireplace and TV.

 

 

The Posadas specialities are the regional meals especially prepared by our staff, always very well accompanied by our wines from Bodega Salentein and Bodega El Portillo. The meals are served in a comfortable lodge situated in a separated building, where visitors enjoy not only a warm fireplace but also a spectacular view of the Merlot and Pinot Noir vineyards.
