A veritable paradise, ideal for winding
down. Mountains, blanketed with lush shady forests reach to the coast,
overlooking the sandy beach in a glorious bay, dotted with tropical
islands. Ancient Portuguese forts rest on outcrops, both on the mainland
and islands. Architecturally stunning, the whitewashed colonial houses,
with brightly painted windows and doors, line the pedestrianised cobblestone
streets. Great bars and restaurants, offering local seafood delicacies,
stand alongside art and craft shops. The atmosphere is tasteful and
unspoilt, retaining the colonial charm.
Wonderful boat trips can be made to explore
the islands, landing on secluded beaches, or you can anchor in bays
for snorkelling or diving in the clear, warm waters.

| Pousada Pardieiro

One of the oldest pousadas in the city the Pousada Pardieiro is situated in the historical centre of Parati, near the beach. The 27 rooms are all individually decorated in a colonial style and have air conditioning, safe, mini bar and en-suite bathroom. This pretty pousada is set amongst lush tropical gardens and has its own boat for taking trips out to the tropical islands. As well as a bar and restaurant the pousada also features a swimming pool and sauna.

Porto Imperial Pousada

The Tourist Class Pousada Porto Paraty is located in an authentic colonial house in the historical centre of Parati. The pousada is attractively furnished and has 52 rooms with telephone, cable TV, mini bar and en-suite bathroom. There is also a restaurant, tea room, bar and internal garden within the hotel, as well as a sauna, swimming pool and tennis court.

at the large fresh water swimming pool, fed from a natural spring,
and in the tropical gardens surrounding the pousada. Venture out
and a few minutes away, the beach and strolls in the forest, await.
Our 20m sailing boat, a local "escuna" anchored
at beach front, is available to take guests to the sandy beaches
of the local islands, or on short cruises.

10 minutes walk away are several
paradisiacal beaches with calm waters ideal for swimming.Bathe
in the many waterfalls and freshwater springs, horse ride on the
footsteps of the gold route or scuba diving near Parati. The neighbouring
bays also have some excellent, and relatively empty, surf beaches.
The region is a paradise for outdoor
adventure sports. Our experience in the organization and the management
of outdoors adventure, lets us offer you a selection of active
vacations, which may include rafting, kayaking, hikes on nearby
mountains, on day trips or expeditions lasting
several days.

Sandi Pousada
|
The Pousada do Sandi is located in one of the most important historical areas of Parati, surrounded by rich colonial architecture and cobbled streets. A former school and also previously home to a social and cultural club, the building features architecture and ornaments from the colonial time of Brazil. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, mini bar, TV, safe and en-suite bathroom. The pousada also has a restaurant, bar, swimming pool and Turkish baths.
