This full day excursion is specially designed to lead you on a panoramic journey of some of Torres del Paine's most spectacular natural sights, with magnificent views throughout and potential sightings of some of the wildlife resident here.
The trip begins with a brief introduction to the landscapes, flora and fauna of the park in the Administrative Headquarters, before journeying up to Cerro Condor. From here we get a fabulous view, one of the most beautiful in all of the park, of the sparkling waters of Lago Pehoé backed by the distinctive horn-like peaks of Los Cuernos. As the name suggests, a condors nesting place can be seen from up here, so hopefully we will get the chance to observe these majestic creatures in flight.
Next up is a close-up view of the powerful Salto Grande waterfall, part of the Paine River. We continue with a short hike to a lookout point at Lake Nordenskjöld for another view of Los Cuernos from a different perspective. After lunch it is on to the area around Laguna Amarga and more waterfalls. Finally, as we head back towards the hotel, look out for herds of guanacos along the way.
