Viñales is one of the numerous valleys in the Sierra de los Organos and features the fascinating 'Mogotes'; large hills that rise from the red earth, covered in lush green vegetation and riddled with caves, found in few places throughout the world.

The town of Viñales was built on rich earth that has been cultivated since the 17th century and is today used for the cultivation of tobacco. During your visit here there will be opportunities to tour a tobacco plantation and workshop to learn more about the process and to also experience the region's caves and underground rivers.
