As the first true superyacht in the Galapagos Islands, the 50m Aqua Mare has 30% more indoor space than most yachts her size, making her the perfect respite after active days exploring the remote wildlife and dynamic nature of the Archipelago.
There are seven large Zuretti-designed suites, including an 80 sqm Owner’s Suite complete with exclusive steward service, extravagant indoor and outdoor social spaces.
Public areas include the sun deck with panoramic dining, sun loungers, Jacuzzi, and workout zone. On the upper Deck there is the main panoramic lounge, library, bar, and decking area. The main deck has an indoor dining room, boutique, and outdoor dining and lounge area. The lower Deck has a swimming platform, beach cluband movie room.
Exclusivity is combined with personalised service enabled by two naturalist guides for 16 guests, on top of the islands’ most exclusive one-to-one crew to guest ratio.
This remarkable expedition departs from Baltra Island and sails north to Genovesa, known for its vast diversity of bird species such as the largest colony of red-footed boobies; while a visit to Darwin Bay offers opportunities to snorkel with hammerhead sharks. Observe endemic giant Tortoises in their natural habitat and catch sight of waved albatrosses. The volcanic origin of the islands manifests across a diversity of landscapes from the natural beauty of Los Gemelos twin craters to the rare Pahoehoe lava flows of Sullivan Bay.
Sailing from Puerto Ayora, this voyage takes you across some of the Archipelago’s most volcanically active islands for extraordinary explorations amid shield volcanoes and basalt lava flows. Observe colonies of marine iguanas and flightless cormorants at the rocky shores of Espinoza Point, swim with sea lions against the astonishing backdrop of a volcanic red sand beach at Rabida Island, witness the legendary mating dance of blue-footed boobies at North Seymour, and wonder at white-tipped reef sharks and sea turtles in the shallow waters of Black Turtle Cove.
Combining Aqua’s west and east itineraries into a full 14-night exploration of the Galapagos Archipelago allows for the most comprehensive discovery of its hidden treasures. Departing from Baltra Island, no two adventures are the same as the unique environmental conditions of each island influenced the development of distinct landscapes, flora and fauna. From encounters with hammerhead sharks in Darwin Bay to observing endemic giant tortoises in their natural habitat and rare Pahoehoe lava flows of Sullivan Bay, no site will be left unexplored.
