British Airways has announced it will start new flight routes to Latin America in May 2016. These will consist of direct, non-stop flights from London Gatwick to Lima, Peru three times a week, and to San Jose, Costa Rica twice a week. These long-awaited routes are excellent news for anyone interested in travel to Latin America, who will now be able to enjoy quicker flight times, no need for connecting flights, and the British Airways quality of service. It will now also allow travellers to combine these popular destinations with the others operated by British Airways, who currently fly to Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Mexico City and Cancun. With all the amazing tourist attractions that Peru offers, including the world renowned Machu Picchu, we are sure that these flights will be extremely popular. The UK travel industry has been calling for a route to Lima for more than 30 years, so it is with great expectations that we welcome these news.
Veloso Tours is a British Airways Preferred Partner and we can make reservations on all these flights today; we find that the airfares offer excellent value. The flights operate during the day departing from London to Lima and San Jose so that we can offer connecting flights starting in most UK Regional Airport, and the return flight is overnight so that you also arrive in London in time to connect with your flight home.
This also means that you can enjoy the extra seat space and extra legroom of British Airways World Traveller Plus, their premium economy cabin, as well as the superb enhanced service British Airways Club World, on the flights to and from Lima and San Jose.
