Chongqing to Yichang

DAY 1 - Depart Chongqing

Boarding around 7:00pm. Your Yangtze cruise begins at 9:30pm as the ship sails apart Chongqing.

DAY 2 - Yangtze River Cruising/Shibao Pagoda

After optional excursion to Fengdu Ghost City, enjoy a cultural introduction and itinerary briefing. Later tour the ancient Shibaozhai Temple, a 200m tall pagoda-like structure built into a cliff-face on a verdant island. Evening welcome party and dance shows. (B, L,D)

DAY 3 - Three Gorges & Lesser Three Gorges

Optional AM tour to White Emperor City, an ancient hilltop temple complex, before passing through the breathtaking Three Gorges, where steep mountainsides, covered in thick vegetation, sink into the river. PM shore excursion to the picturesque Shennv or Shennong Stream, part of the Lesser three Gorges. Later, at around 10pm, the boat lowers some 600 feet as you pass through the locks of the Three Gorges Dam. (B, L,D)

DAY 4 - Three Gorges Dam & Disembarkation

Start with a memorable excursion to see the Three Gorges Dam up close to learn about this remarkable feat of engineering. Next, cruise through the east section of the spectacular Xiling Gorge. Disembark at Yichang and transfer to the airport for your afternoon onward flight. You will be met on arrival by your guide upon arrival at your next destination. (B, L)

Yichang to Chongching

SUN: Monday to Friday

SKY: Wednesday to Sunday

DAY 1 - Depart Yaching

Begin boarding around 7:30pm.

DAY 2 - Three Gorges Dam Site

Depart from Yichang, sail into the Xiling Gorge in the morning. Optional Excursion to the fabulous Tribe of the Three Gorges.Then afternoon Shore Excursion to the Three Gorges Dam, ship sails through the five-step Ship locks in the evening. Captain's Welcome Party in the early evening, a Crew Cabaret after welcome dinner. (B, L,D)

DAY 3 - Lesser Three Gorges

Wu gorge, excursion to Shennv or Shennong Stream or Lesser Three Gorges of Daning River, Qutang Gorge. Optional tour to the White Emperor City in the afternoon. (B, L,D)

DAY 4 - Shibao Pagoda

Land excursion to Shibao Pagoda , cultural programs onboard and farewell dinner in the evening. (B, L,D)

DAY 5 - Arrival in Chongqing

Disembark at Chongqing and transfer to the airport for your afternoon onward flight. You will be met on arrival by your guide upon arrival at your next destination. (B)
