Aguas Arriba Lodge is a mountain home on the east bank of Lago Del Desierto, 37km from El Chalten and 15km from The Glaciers National Park. Arriving at the lodge is quite special too, enjoying a 15 minute boat ride across the lake to the lodge. The lodge offers a relaxing, eco-friendly experience and is quite a unique place to stay. Enjoy majestic views of Mount Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre as well as the sounds of ice breaking off from Vespignani Glacier.
The lodge has five spacious comfortable rooms, with large windows, allowing the views of the lake, the mountain and the glacier. Amenities include private bathroom, a large double bed (or 2 beds), safe, choice of pillows, heating, hair dryer and free Wi-Fi.
The lodge provides all meals - a combination of fresh and quality homemade food.
The main activities on offer are trekking through private trails, photography, bird watching, fly-fishing, yoga and meditation. For about three hours you can explore almost unexplored trails, surrounded by centenary trees.
