UXUA Casa Hotel & Spa

UXUA's casas is a boutique hotel of 13 restored fisherman houses facing the town's historic Quadrado (colonial area), each opulently designed for the ecologically-conscious traveller and hidden in a lush garden of nearly six thousand square metres walking distance to a beautiful, peaceful beach. All houses have been designed and decorated by Wilbert Das in collaboration with local artisans using traditional building methods, with reclaimed and organic materials decorated with Brazilian antiques and art. The rustic elements fuse with contemporary design, with open, airy rooms and a merging of indoor and outdoor living spaces. Each house varies in size from 90 to over 230 square meters.

Casa Zé e Zilda is a 2 bedroom house. Its original third bedroom is now an independent house (Casa Ceramica) which can be connected to Zé e Zilda. Casa do Lago is a 3 bedroom house with its own pool.

The hotel has a luxury Spa with sauna and relaxation room. They also have a new wellness program called UXUA Vida and a medical neurologist working at the hotel in the Vida Lab. Dr. Julian provides infusions for the spa treatments, recipies, juices and smoothies for the restaurants, all based on local organic plants, fruits and vegetables. He is also available for personal consultations and cooking classes personalised to the guests needs.

The rates are on a room and breakfast basis.
