The Atlantis Historic Inn

The Atlantis Historic Inn is an elegant historic boutique hotel dating back to the 1800s, located in the quaint fishing village of Tent Bay, St. Joseph overlooking the spectacular Atlantic Ocean.

The hotel has just 9 rooms, with a choice of Coastal View rooms, Ocean View rooms and a couple of 2-bedroom cottages (ideal for families with a master bedroom and second bedroom with 2 single beds and a kitchen). All rooms are air-conditioned with king size beds, private bathrooms, flat screen TV, and free Wi-Fi.

Public areas include a swimming pool with loungers and umbrellas as well as a rustic, bamboo cabana, There is direct access to the beach and the hotel is within walking distance to natural, reef pools.

The restaurant offers stunning views of the ocean and delicious Caribbean and International cuisine.

There is much to do in this part of Barbados, including nature walks along the old, railway track, hike through the clay hills, or explore the nearby Andromeda Botanic Gardens. Other gardens are Farley Hill Park, Hunte’s Garden and Welchman Hall Gully. Other attractions are St Nicholas Abbey and George Washington House.

There is a choice of beautiful beaches (in addition to the beach at the hotel) to enjoy a day out too.
