Selva Verde Lodge Reserve

Located in Sarapiqui county, Selva Verde is a rainforest reserve with 500 acres of tropical nature and a haven for nature enthusiasts from around the world. The abundant biodiversity, comfortable rainforest lodge, and exciting activities are ideal for adventure seekers, bird and wildlife watchers, and families. 

The lodge has forty well-appointed rooms, five secluded bungalows, and a Casona Suite for families or small groups. Selva Verde's Costa Rica eco lodge buildings are incorporated into the rainforest on elevated wooden platforms and walkways that blend in with the natural surroundings. The covered walkways allow guests to stroll and observe wildlife while staying dry during the rains.

Public facilities include a dining hall, restaurant, and bar astride the lovely Sarapiquí River with a spectacular views. There is also a delightful pool and a gift shop.

There is much to explore in the area, including specially arranged birdwatching packages, guided walks in the Selva Verde rainforest reserve, early morning and night walks and birdwatching, a tour to discover the many species of frogs that frequent the area, and latin dance classes.

The rates are on a bed and breakfast basis.
