La Selva Jungle Lodge is situated on picturesque Lake Garzacocha on the Napo River, deep in the Ecuadorian Amazon region. Guests fly from Quito to Coca and are then taken to the riverbank to continue to the lodge by motorised canoe.

The suites each have a private bathroom with ceiling fan, free Wi-Fi, mosquito nets, safe and luxury amenities. Public areas include a dining room, bar and the only Spa in the Ecuadorean Amazon. The lodge has kayaks for use by guests.

After a day of adventures, enjoy a refreshing dip in a natural pool in Garzacocha lake, or spend time in the resting room

There are daily excursions to see the diverse flora and fauna with varying levels of difficulty, as well as night excursions, either by canoe or on foot, to view nocturnal animals such as caiman, monkeys, insects and owls. There is also an observation tower near the lodge from where you can watch many of birds flying at eye level; 580 different species of bird can be found here. In 1992 La Selva created the Neotropical Field Biology Institute, that receives researchers from around the world. You can ask your guide what investigations may be taking place during your stay.

The rates are on a full board basis and include transfers and daily excursions.
