- Tropic Air is the largest airline in Belize. It was founded in 1979. The airline has introduced modern aircraft in the domestic market in Belize which has played a key role in the promotion of the tourism industry in the country.
- At present, the airline operates a network of 19 destinations and 4 countries, dominating the domestic aviation market in Belize. In the region, Tropic Air also serves Flores and Guatemala City, Cancun, Chetumal and Merida in Mexico, and San Pedro Sula in Honduras. Its main hub is at San Pedro Airport (SPR) and secondary hub at Belize City Municipal Airport (TZA).
- Tropic Air has a fleet of eleven Cessna Grand Caravans (208B) – Glass Cockpit, two Gippsland Airvans (GA8), and two Cessna Turbo 182’s – Glass Cockpit. These aircraft are configured for three to fourteen passengers.
