Red Earth Tadoba

Red Earth Tadoba is located close to the Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve, Maharashtra’s oldest National Park created in 1955. It is also one of India’s 28 Project Tiger Reserves. The National Park is 623 square km in size, consisting of two forested rectangles of the Tadoba and Andhari range.

There are roughly 140 bengal tigers in and around the national park. Besides the star attraction, the forest is shared by Indian leopards, sloth bears, striped hyenas, Indian bison, the rare four-horned antelope and barking deer and many more species.

The lodge has 20 charming cottages, with 2 configured for families with an extra room. Each is air-conditioned with it’s own plunge pool, private bathroom, open air shower, private veranda, writing desk, tea and coffee making facilities, mini fridge, safe, hair dryer, free Wi-Fi, safe and TV.

Public facilities include: a restaurant serving North Indian, South Indian, and Continental food; a spa, pedicure room and sauna; games room; and large infinity pool.

Enjoy full or half-day safaris from Zari gate where opportunities for sighting tigers are much higher. Also on offer are birdwatching and butterfly tours, use of bicycles, stargazing, cooking classes and a visit to a local village by bullock cart.
