Rohet Wilderness Camp is a collection of seven luxury tents set on a small hill overlooking the expansive shrub-land of the Thar Desert. The location is a haven on peace that will bring you close to nature from the cosy comforts of your beautifully appointed Tent.
The tents are furnished with polished teak wood furniture handcrafted by the local craftsmen. There are well-appointed bathrooms with solar water heating, and high quality of linen, floor rugs and amenities.
There are two common lounge and dining areas, made from the traditional thatch and dung plaster. Outside, relaxing around the fire makes evenings a lovely experience.
A great way to arrive at the Camp is on horseback! (apparently Madonna did just that!). You could even arrive in your safari jeep having traversed the countryside looking for antelope.
Activities include a village safari, equestrian program on ˜Marwari' bred horses, picnics, birdwatching tours, culinary workshops and demonstrations.
The rates include all meals.
