All 31 air-conditioned suites are decorated with sungkai-wood screens, coconut- wood and rattan furniture, antique batik cushions and Javanese glass artworks.

Dining is enjoyed at the restaurant, bar and terrace serving Indonesian and western cuisine. The Pool Club offers breakfast, light lunches and smacks overlooking the infinity pool. There is also Rumah Pizza serving wood-fired pizza, salads and desserts.

There is much to explore locally including a guided tour at dawn of Borobudur by bike or walking, a tour to the Hindu temple complex of Prambanan, a visit to the temple at Sukuh, and Ceto on the slopes of Mt Lawu. You can hike with a local guide to the summit of Mount Merapi or in the nearby Menoreh Hills. There are also two golf courses nearby.
