After arriving early morning, you will be met by your guide and transferred to the deluxe Samsara Hotel, Ubud for a 4 night stay on a bed and breakfast basis with lunch included each day. This is also the opportunity for our guide to provide you with expert local advice, explain your programme and answer any questions you may have. The rest of the day is at leisure to relax at your hotel.

Today, we explore scenic roads offering beautiful views of the rice fields and the daily life of the Balinese farmers, including the temple of Gunung Kawi, Tampaksiring village and Tirta Empul, a temple famous for its sacred spring water.
After an included lunch, enjoy a trek to Tegalalang, a panoramic region located in Pakudui.

Mas Village
Today you will get a true taste of local Balinese culture, traditions and lifestyles. We visit Mas, a small village known for its wood carving tradition. You will have the chance to try your hand at carving as well as learning how to cook Balinese dishes as they prepare your included lunch.
After lunch, return to Ubud with a visit to ARMA Museum (Agung Rai Museum of Art) and enjoy one of the best permanent collections of Balinese and Indonesian paintings. We also visit the Monkey forest and local market.
Return to your hotel to freshen before witnessing a traditional dance performance and included dinner in one of Ubud’s famous restaurants, The Bridges.

Taman Ayun, Jatiluwih and Bedugul
Today, visit to the royal Taman Ayun Temple in Mengwi with its beautiful ponds, multi-tiered roof structures and traditional Balinese architecture. We continue to Bali’s UNESCO-listed Jatiluwih for panoramic views of its iconic rice terraces. Located on a slope near the holy mountain of Batukaru, this area is known as the ‘Rice Granary of Bali’, and is one of the best examples of subak-style rice farming. After an included lunch, drive north to Lake Bratan for a visit to Ulun Danu Temple. The temple is set in the lake’s calm waters on several small islands giving the impression that it is ‘floating’.
Continue to Munduk and check into the Sanak Retreat for a 2-night stay on a bed and breakfast basis. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Treetop Adventure and Luwus Village
This morning, experience a zip line adventure at the Bali Treetop Adventure Park. There are a variety of activities to choose from, including high-flying swings, rope ladders, breath-taking jumps and a 160-metre long zip line (also called ‘Flying Fox’). The experience will give you a wonderful insight into the forest, and is a lot of fun.
Continue to Luwus village for an included lunch. We visit the beautiful heritage museum, factory and coffee museum.

Travel to Candidasa
Today we visit Kintamani, a volcanic region where Mount Batur stands with breathtaking views. Adjacent to the volcano is the large crescent-shaped Batur Lake, all surrounded by the high walls of the crater rim.
Enjoy an included lunch at a local restaurant with sweeping views over Lake Batur.
We continue to the famous Besakih Temple by mid-afternoon. Known as the ‘Mother Temple’ of Bali, the temple is located on the western slopes of Mount Agung, Bali’s tallest volcano (2,567 m). Besakih is the largest and most religiously important temple on the island. As such, it’s also a fantastic place to see some of the local traditions.
We then travel to Candidasa and check into the beachside Alila Manggis Hotel for a 3-night stay on a bed and breakfast basis. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Tirta Gangga and Village Trekking
After an early breakfast, enjoy a morning trek to Pura Lempuyang, literally translated as the ‘highest lantern’, is one of the most important and sacred temples in Bali. The entrance resembles the gateway to heaven, opening with panoramic views as wide as from the summits of nearby Mount Agung and all the way down to the beautiful tranquil bays on the east coast of Bali.
Continue for two and a half hours on an uphill hike on a trail hidden in grasslands and Pandan forests. Get rewarded by breathtaking views while enjoying tea or coffee and Balinese snacks served 1,058 metres above sea level. Receive a blessing from a Balinese Hindu priest.
From the bottom of Belibis Mountain continue on a short drive to a beautifully situated restaurant for a refuelling Megibung lunch, served in the style of the Royal family of Karangasem.
Proceed to Tenganan village, the village is home to the Bali Aga people, Bali’s first inhabitants, here before the arrival of the Majapahit dynasty people who came from Java. You’ll see the village’s unique architecture as well as observe the weaving of the ikat pattern and traditional basket weaving.
Return to the hotel in Candidasa where the remainder of today is at leisure.

Morning at leisure at your hotel. In the afternoon, we leave Candidasa and depart along the south eastern coast to Klungkung, stopping at Goa Lawa to visit the sacred bat caves, one of Bali most revered temples which is said to have an underground connection with Besakih Temple.
Continue to the Movenpick Resort, Jimbaran for a 5-night stay in a bed and breakfast basis. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Uluwatu Cliffs & Jimbaran Seafood Dining
Morning at leisure relaxing on the beach.
Late afternoon, depart with a local guide for a magical night out in Bali. Travel to Uluwatu, one of Bali’s most impressive temples. Majestically perched on the edge of a steep cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean, this sacred site is the best place on the island to watch sunset. Observe locals performing a traditional kecak performance.
Continue to Jimbaran Beach and enjoy dinner al fresco with a selection of fresh seafood, which is then grilled up and served with a selection of dipping sauces and side dishes. Dine under the stars and with the sounds of waves crashing on the shore, savouring the magical atmosphere of this seaside feast.

Balinese Kite Making
This morning, we learn all about Balinese kites at the house of kite maker Mr. Made Dika. Once the kite is assembled and stable, leave the house and continue on a short drive to the beach. Mr. Dika will assist in launching the kite on the beautiful shoreline.
Included lunch in a little eatery with a view of the sea with colourful outriggers lining the shoreline.

Cruise to Nusa Lembongan
This morning transfer to Benoa Harbour for a full day cruise to Nusa Lembongan.
Sail across the turquoise waters, enjoying tea and coffee and light snacks on board. We arrive at a quiet stretch of beach on Nusa Lembongan, an island oasis of white beaches and clear waters. The day is free to enjoy this blissful paradise. Relax on the soft sands underneath a swaying palm tree, grab a snorkel to explore the colourful marine life and coral reefs found off the shores of Lembongan. There is also an opportunity to do Standup Paddles or Sea kayaking.
At midday, an included buffet lunch will be served at the Beach Club.
We return to your hotel in time for sunset.
