Humahuaca Gorge & Purmamarca Village
A full days exploration into the surrounding high altitude countryside surrounding Salta, visiting traditional Purmamarca Village with its Seven Coloured Hill, church and craft market on the square.
Continue to Tilcara and visit Pucará's Archaeological Museum, Huacalera and cross the Tropic of Capricorn to view the colours of La Pollera del Coya Hill. Arrive at Humahuaca at noon. The town has an important church and the Independence Monument and where we stop for lunch (not included).
Continue to San Salvador de Jujuy visiting Flag Hall and the cathedral, with its pulpit carved in wood and gold.

Cachi & El Obispo
Our full day tour today begins with a visit in the Lerma Valley and Quebrada de los Laureles (The Laurel"s Gorge) and Quebrada de Escoipe (Escoipe Gorge).
We arrive to Maray, entering Cuesta del Obispo (The Bishop"s Cliff), a very scenic road where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Enchanted Valley and small houses with maize and fruit trees.
At Piedra del Molino (The Mill`s Stone) we reach 3.384 metres above the sea level, the highest point in our trip. Soon Los Cardones National Park is crossed by the straight line of Tin-Tin (ancient Inca"s road). On arrival to Cachi, enjoy a panoramic view of the Nevado de Cachi and Payogasta and visit the Archaeological Museum.

We leave Salta this morning on a full day drive across the Andes crossing the border into Chile onto San Pedro de Atacama, our base to explore the incredible Atacama Desert, where we stay for 3-nights including breakfast.

Calama and Moon Valley
We head towards the salt mountain range to the Moon Valley. Upon entering, the first stop is at the Great Dune, where we walk along a sandy path until we reach the viewpoint with a panoramic view. Then, the second stop is at the Tres Marías viewpoint, a geological formation sculpted by erosive agents that look like statues of salt.
On the way back, we take a short walk next to the Amphitheater, a geological formation with sedimentary folds of clay, salt and plaster. Finally, We visit the Mirador de Cari, located at 2,550 meters above sea level. Known as the "Piedra del Coyote", this viewpoint is one of the most famous postcards of San Pedro de Atacama, from where you can contemplate a majestic view of the Andes Mountains.

Altiplanic Lagoons, Piedras Rojas and Chaxa
Enjoy a full day tour today visiting the Chaxa Lagoon, an oasis in the middle of a salt desert home to many species of flamingos and other altiplanic birds.

Ainsworth Bay to Tucker Islet
This morning we sail through Almirantazgo Sound to Marinelli Glacier in Ainsworth Bay, where we go ashore and enjoy a walk discovering a beaver dam in the midst of a Magellanic forest.
Later we visit Tucker Islet, where we view colonies of Magellanic Penguins and Cormorants from zodiac boats. The islet's penguins migrate in April; as a replacement we visit Brookes Bay, for a short walk to see a glacier.

Pia Glacier to Glacier Alley
Today we navigate through the main part of Beagle Channel to reach Pia Bay, where we disembark near Pia Glacier.
We take a short hike to a lookout point with a spectacular view of the entire glacier tongue, stretching from high in the mountains all the way to the sea.
After this unforgettable experience, we sail again along the northwest arm of Beagle Channel through majestic "Glacier Alley" observing from the ship Spain, Romanche, Germany, Italy, France and Holland glaciers.

Cape Horn to Wulaia Bay
Our final day is for many the highlight, as weather depending, we sail through Beagle and Murray channels and disembark in Cape Horn National Park.
Cape Horn, on Hornos Island, is a sheer, 425-metre (1,394-foot) high rocky promontory at the point where the Atlantic and Pacific oceans merge.
This mythical place is known as the "End of the Earth"; a visit here is very special. The park was declared a World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in June 2005.
In the afternoon, we go ashore in historic Wulaia Bay, once the site of one of the region's largest aboriginal settlements.
This area is also renowned for the mesmerising beauty of its vegetation and geography. We walk through a magellanic forest of lengas, coigües, canelos, ferns and other native vegetation to reach a lookout point.
