Exploring the Atacama Desert
Early morning departure to Chaxa Lagoon, an oasis in the middle of a salt desert. Its waters surface show us a rich ecosystem home for many species of flamingos and other altiplanic birds. It’s one of the most spectacular and dramatic landscapes on earth. Continue to Piedras Rojas and walk in the desert observing copper-coloured rocks, lagoons and salt flats. We then visit Miscanti and Meñiques Altiplanic lagoons, with crystalline waters, surrounded by massifs that have a unique landscape. Continue to Toconao, built with volcanic rock and recognized for the spectacular views it offers of the Salar de Atacama.

Todays full day tour takes you on a cruise through Lake Argentino North Arm, crossing Boca del Diablo to the Upsala channel, among the large icebergs that emerge from Upsala Glacier front. Then, we enter the Spegazzini Channel from where we will get the first view of Seco Glacier. Continue to the front of the Spegazzini Glacier where we will also see the Heim Sur and Peineta glaciers. Enchanted Valley, Mountain Village & Traful Lake Drive
Today we explore the Argentinian Lake District, visiting Anfiteatro, a natural amphitheatre-shaped geological formation on the Limay river. From here we hike to the stunningly beautiful Valle Encantado through volcanic rock formations and forests. We then enter Nahuel Huapi National Park and drive along a stunning canyon carved in by the crystalline white waters of Cuyín Manzano river. In this magical steppe environment we will be able to photograph landscapes, different species of birds and the magnificent salmons that have its habitat in the Traful river. We then continue our journey to Puerto Arrayán and El Portezuelo and take the road back to Villa La Angostura , where we can have our lunch (included) in one of its many restaurants.

Scenic Lakes And Forest Walks
A full day guided tour experiencing Patagonian nature at its best! We will visit lakes, lagoons, valleys, forests and mountains to give you a real sense of this wonderful landscape, at a pace and level of activity to suit you. We walk for about 45 minutes through the forest, a low intensity activity, entering the Andean Patagonian Forest, one of the main attractions of the area. After lunch we ride the chairlift up to the top of Cerro Campanario (Belfry Mount) with a wonderful view of the whole area we have just visited.
