This morning our guide will take you on a walking tour of the historic centre of Mexico City (a UNESCO world heritage site), including the majestic metropolitan cathedral in the main square of the city and the stunning Palacio de Bellas Artes.

We continue to the San Angel neighbourhood and visit the famous Saturday arts and crafts market - a super place to browse and enjoy lunch (not included) in a wonderful, colourful environment.Â

Anthropological Museum & the ruins at Teotihuacan
We take an excursion to the famous Anthropological Museum, housing a magnificent collection of Aztec and Mayan artefacts, great Olmec stone heads, burial tombs, exquisite pottery and ceramics. We continue to the pyramids of Teotihuacan (500BC- 700 AD) with the immense Pyramid of the Sun, the third largest in the world.

Day trip to Puebla
Today, enjoy a guided tour to laid-back Puebla famous for its impressive colonial architecture. Puebla is one of the five most important Spanish colonial cities in Mexico, located approximately two hours to the south east of Mexico City. It was declared a National Heritage site in 1987 and today offers exquisite cuisine, a laid-back lifestyle, hidden museums and churches and an abundance of colonial architecture, especially its impressive cathedral.
