Located within 5 kilometres of pristine Mexican coastline in the Cuixmala Biosphere Reserve, Casa Cuixmala is one of the most luxurious places to stay perhaps in the world. Once the private residence of Sir James Goldsmith, the residence is now a retreat like no other.
There is a choice of three suites in Casa Cuixmala, six villas, three bungalows and 10 casitas. All are extremely spacious, beautifully and creatively designed with either a sea or mountain view. The Casitas have their own pool and restaurant.
Public areas include a stunning pool, wide expanses of remote beaches and world class dining at the La Loma Restaurant, Caleta Blanca or Casa Gomez. Most ingredients are locally grown at the residences farm.
There is much to do, the most popular activity being exploring Cuixmala Biosphere Reserve with its unique wildlife including zebra, eland, multicolour iguanas and over 270 species of migratory birds at any given moment. Other activities include beach sports, horse riding, guided treks, boating and ball sports.
