Boat description

An expedition aboard the brand new Aqua Nera is set to be an Amazon experience like no other. The vessel offers stunning public facilities including the observation deck (perfect for photography and birdwatching), an outdoor and indoor lounge, bar, library, games room, gym, spa and river facing plunge pool. The ship can even offer a private screening of up to 10 guests watching classic films on the observation deck.

There is also a private screening room on the ship where you can enjoy lectures and videos on the Amazon, led by the expert naturalist guides.

The Aqua Nera will offer five-star cuisine in the restaurant, created by chef Pedro Miguel Schiaffino. 70% of the ingredients are sourced from the local area. Guests enjoy dishes such as hearts of palm soufflé, scallops with wild almonds and umari fruit, plantain, and yucca gnocchi, escolar fish in aji panka chili adobo, grilled paiche with Amazon huatia potatoes — the delicious results of chef Schiaffino’s culinary mind.

Every day the expert naturalist guides will take you on explorations by skiff or on land exploring the vast Amazon region and meeting local villagers. It is an authentic and inspiring experience.

Deck Plan

Passengers are accommodated in 20 Design Suites across two decks. Each measuring 30 square meters / 322 square feet. Award-winning architect Noor Design draws inspiration from the peaceful blackwater lagoons and tributaries of the Mirrored Forest in the Peruvian Amazon to craft an aesthetic for Aqua Nera’s suites that is impeccably stylish and inviting. Each suite has premium fittings and bedding, as well as full air-conditioning and full-length windows to admire the endlessly enthralling panorama of the Amazon river and rainforest.
