Experience the sounds of the past in this musical adventure in the heart of the Andes.

In this unique half day tour you will visit the house of a local music maestro, an avid aficionado of music culture and collector of pre-Hispanic instruments. The owner has more 4,000 ancient instruments in a small museum in his house. Astonishingly, he is able to play each and every one of them, some of which he will demonstrate for your enjoyment as you gather round the fire. Throughout the visit you will learn about the significance of the instruments and the different sounds heard in Andean music - sounds of war, harvest, spirituality, cosmology and love.

The owner will then lead you to his very own music workshop, where he will demonstrate how they are made and will give you the opportunity to purchase one, should you wish to have this most unique of souvenirs.
