La Ferme de Georges is located on the edge of a sprawling 1,500 square kilometer area of sand dunes in the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park. Here, hundreds of turquoise lagoons providing a stunning visual spectacle; a playground for swimmers, sunbathers and explorers.
There are several lodges created from local resources and designed to harness cool breezes for natural ventilation (there is no air conditioning). Each has king size bed, private garden space, lounge, mosquito net, hot shower, safe and mini bar.
Public areas include the garden shaded by cashew trees and swimming pool - a perfect spot to unwind, cool down and enjoy a fresh caipirinha from the bar. The restaurant is dedicated to serving fresh Brazilian cuisine that has been sourced from the property’s organic gardens.
There are a range of activities available, including horse riding, kitesurfing, wildlife tours and birdwatching.
