Fly to Rio
Depart from a number of UK airports on a daytime or overnight flight on to Rio de Janeiro.On arrival you will be met at the airport by your guide and taken to your chosen hotel for a 4 night stay.
Your guide will take you on a short introductory orientation walk of the surrounding streets and beachfront. You will walk along the promenade of Copacabana and Ipanema beaches in order to gain a feeling of Rio de Janeiro's city life - the people, the beach culture, the apartments of the city's affluent, all that makes up the typical "Carioca" life.

City tour of Rio
We begin our tour by visiting the famous Statue of Christ the Redeemer on Corcovado Mountain where you can admire spectacular 360° views of the city, tropical forest, granite peaks and the bay.
From here we visit the bohemian district of Santa Teresa, once home to the rich and famous it's now occupied by galleries, writers, musicians and artists.
Our journey continues into the city centre with a stop at one of Rio's oldest coffee shops, after which you visit the cathedral and travel into the historical district to admire the colonial architecture and charming surroundings, whilst taking in the atmosphere.

Arrival at Praia do Forte beach
Travel from Salvador da Bahia to Praia do Forte, a charming, tranquil fishing village located 80 km north of Salvador with idyllic beaches, a small old church and sea turtle protection centre. The streets of the village are now paved and many of the fisherman's houses have been converted into shops, bars, small restaurants, ideal to relax, walk and browse.
A short distance inland is a "restinga" forest, a swamp for birdwatching and the old castle of Garcia D'Avila.
