Casa Turquesa

Located in the historic centre of Parati, on the quiet side of town in front of the docks, Casa Turquesa combines charm, coziness and modernity.

The house, opened in May 2008, offers nine comfortable rooms and suites, with views from their windows and balconies of the bay. The famous roofs of the city, the mountains and the dome of the church of Santa Rita - the town's oldest religious building - are also visible.

The rooms are decorated in different colours so no two are alike, and are all equipped with King and Queen size beds, 600-thread 100%-cotton sheets, large bathrooms and in the suites a whirlpool bath. All rooms and suites have air conditioning, ceiling fans, hair dryer, TV, safe, telephone umbrellas, bathrobes and complimentary mini bar.

Designed by Renato Tavolaro, Casa Turquesa recreates the façade of an antique two-story house of the 18th century destroyed by fire 30 years ago. The restoration of the building kept the colonial architecture; a mix of history and contemporary comfort.

Casa Turqusa has an internal courtyard for its guests. A swimming pool equipped with whirlpool, bar, cellar, gazebo and garden. The house also offers a reading room with a computer and a small fireplace for colder days. FREE WI-FI is available throughout the house.

The rates are on a bed and breakfast basis.
