Then hiring a traditional jangada fishing boat to drift slowly into the crystal clear waters, disembarking to snorkel amid multi-coloured marine life and corals. Dry off on the beach before heading to a laid-back bar to listen to some live music, or take a boat trip to the impossibly beautiful, and often deserted, Praia Dos Carneiros further down the coast. Return for dinner at a local churrascarias - a barbecue Brazilian style.
