Visit the Corcovado Mountain to get a closer view of the world famous Christ the Redeemer, the symbol of the Marvellous City. As the statue towers overhead, you'll enjoy the intoxicating views below across Guanabara Bay to Sugar Loaf Mountain and vistas of the Maracana Stadium, the lagoon, the beaches and the lush forest.

A morning visit to Corcovado can be combined with a drive through the lush Tijuca Forest or a visit to the bohemian district of Santa Teresa and its charming cobbled streets on a half day tour.
