There is no better place to experience the amazing atmosphere of a Brazilian football match, than perhaps in the most iconic and revered stadium in the world - the Maracanã. Built for the 1950 Word Cup, it originally seated 200.000 people. but after major restoration works it now holds 78,000 . Major games include the local derby between Flamengo and Fluminense, dubbed Flu-Fla, as well as the regular league games between the four major Rio clubs, including Botafogo and Vasco de Gama. Attending a match with their loyal and enthusiastic supporters is an experience never to be forgotten. Match days tend to be on Wednesdays and at weekends throughout the year and we provide tickets and our driver guide, for your security and peace of mind
