Casa Angatu

Still isolated from the rest of the world just 40 years ago, Trancoso has become a favourite destination for those searching for “hippie chic“ simplicity and the calming life of the tropics. The Fenestraz family built Casa Angatu in this tiny fishing village on the Bahia coast, 750 kilometres south of Salvador. This typical and elegant home can accommodate up to ten guests in its five suites. Just a short walk from Quadrado and Brazil’s most inviting beaches, this magnificent residence is an ideal locale for large families or a group of friends to come together.

The house has five air-conditioned suites, each with a private bathroom and safe. Two rooms even come with an interior and outdoor shower! Three rooms can be furnished with twin beds. 

There are several common living spaces: on the ground floor, guests can meet by the pool, the living room or around the large dining room table. Upstairs, the open-air living room and office allow one and all to live at their own pace.

Casa Angatu features a private Wi-Fi network. The living room has a 46-inch flat screen with Sky TV and there are three iPod Bose stations in the house.The fully-equipped professional kitchen is completed by a barbecue and pizza oven.
