Yerba Loca is a very well-kept secret and is a wonderful place for people who like the outdoors.  The park encompasses a well-marked trail to a glacier, that can be reached on a nine hour round trek. Although long, the hike affords some phenomenal views of the Central Andes Mountains, along with local flora and fauna. The drive to the starting point of the hike only takes about 30 minutes from Providencia in downtown Santiago.
