Hike to Los Cuernos

Get a close look at the magnificent 'Horns' of Torres del Paine, on foot or on horse-back, on this 13 mile round trip.

To begin this journey we follow a section of the five night W trail through the east side of the Ascencio Valley towards the north shores of Lake Nordenskjöld. Along the way we will enjoy fine vistas of the Almirante Nieto Mountain and magnificent hanging glaciers. We then reach a small campsite which sits below the jagged peaks of the splendid Los Cuernos (The Horns), with breathtaking views of the mountains and across the lake. There will be ample time to relax and eat lunch and explore the nearby environment, before beginning the return journey.

The panoramic round trip is 13 miles in total and can be undertaken either by foot or on horse-back.
