Colombians landscapes range from the powerful Andes Mountains, lush high altitude coffee regions and exotic Caribbean beaches and jungle.

Colombians farm around 150,000 coffee plantations, mostly on the mountain slopes between 2,900 and 5,800 feet above sea level. One of the best places to experience the growing process of this national symbol is from Pereira, from where you can explore the lush landscapes of the Colombian Coffee Triangle.

Cocora Valley is a surreal cloud forest, where towering wax palm trees dot the landscape. Visitors can explore the stunning scenery, looking out for hummingbirds along the way.

On the Caribbean coast, the Tayrona National Park combines beautiful golden beaches, fringed with palm-trees and verdant jungle which provides a home to a huge variety of colourful birds and howler and tamarin monkeys.

Colombia is rich in natural resources and beauty - in addition to being the leading producer of emeralds, it is also home to the world's largest platinum deposits.
