Tulemar Bungalows and Villas

Rated by Tripadvisor as the best hotel in the Costa Rica for 2022, Tulemar Bungalows and Villas has luxurious casitas and beautiful private houses surrounded by nature. The resort features incredible gardens, walking paths, thriving wildlife, and the only exclusive sandy beach in the region.

The resort sits on 33-acres of tropical rainforest that extends from the Manuel Antonio National Park. The gardens feature two trails, the north, and the south trails. The Gardens extend down to a private beach.

Choose from standard rooms, bungalows and private villas. All are air-conditioned, with private bathroom and balcony. The bungalows and villas have their own kitchen and lounge. Public areas include four swimming pools, a poolside cafe and two restaurants offering international cuisine with stunning views of the jungle.

Observe wildlife like macaws, pelicans, opossums, porcupines, armadillos, tamanduas, bats, and (of course) sloths. Since 2015, the Tulemar Resort Hotel has worked in collaboration with The Sloth Institute of Costa Rica helping to ensure the continued health of these unique and rare animals. You can take a sloth walk available with a research assistant to observe sloths in their natural habitat.
