The airport is located in the municipality of Boyeros, 15 km (9 mi) southwest of la Havana.
The airport is comprised of four passenger’s terminals. Terminal 3 is the main and most modern. Shuttle bus service is available for transfer between the four terminals.
Terminal 1: It is used mainly for domestic flights.
Terminal 2: It handles some long-distance international flights, along with a few Caribbean flights, such as to Aruba. It also handles most of the scheduled charter flights to and from the USA. The terminal is located on the north side, 2 km (1.2 mi) from terminal 3.
Terminal 3: It is the largest and most modern of all terminals. Ticketing and departures are located on the upper level. The vast majority of international flights operate from this terminal.
