Aramness, Gir National Park

The owner’s love of wilderness and his dedication to conservation has culminated Aramness Lodge, located within an 18 square kilometre area that skirts the Gir National Park.

The 18 luxurious suites (called kothis) celebrate the best of Gujarati design, with either one or two ground floor bedrooms, sitting room,  bathroom with a tub and shower, as well as an outdoor shower. All kothis have a cool shaded courtyard and a first-floor veranda. A small swimming pool features in each kothis.

Guests can enjoy meals anywhere, anytime in multiple, intimate indoor and outdoor dining areas from courtyards to roof terraces and gardens to greenhouses.

Public areas include a cool courtyard fringed by the dining room, sitting room and library, and looks out over beautifully landscaped, terraced gardens. There is a coffee bar, craft gallery, large infinity pool and luxury spa.

A game drive is included in the rates. You can also take a tour to meet the Maldharis, semi-nomadic herders who live among the lions, or visit the white desert in Kutch, Gujarat, offering amazing panoramic views.
