Mharo-Khet, near Jodpur

Mharo Khet is a magical, inspirational place just 45 mins outside Jodhpur. The owner has turned once degenerated, barren land into a productive source of incredible vegetables, herbs, flowers, spices, fruit and fungi - now a sustainable farm. This is a place for nature lovers; a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. 

There are 10 idyllic spacious villas with views of the farmland. Each has two verandahs, a sitting room, superb private bathroom, quality linens and luxury amenities. 

Public areas include a beautiful dining room (he cuisine is organic and delicious) with comfortable seating, a heated swimming pool, al fresco café and a bar. Whilst here you will never be bored! Not only is it an extraordinary culinary experience - ‘farm to table, eat what you grow’ being its mantra, but it also allows you time to relish the pastoral elements of the area. Spend time in the peaceful gardens, practice yoga, and take a cooking, pottery of painting class. There are also guided walks, a BBQ in the desert and excursions to nearby villages to enjoy.
