Guided walks in the Argentine Lake District
This morning we follow the River Limay through the steppe to Anfiteatro, a natural amphitheatre-shaped geological formation on Limay river. Here, we hike to the Valle Encantado where unusual stone formations can be observed, including "The Sentry of the Valley", and "God's Finger". We continue to Nahuel Huapi National Park and drive along a stunning canyon carved in by the crystalline white waters of Cuyín Manzano river.

The scenery here is stunning. You can also spot many species of birds and salmons in the Traful river.

Osorno volcano
Today we explore the Chilean lake district visiting Vicente Perez Rosales National Park, Mirador Los Riscos (a beautiful lookout point featuring the Osorno Volcano) and Mirador Onces Bellavista (to observe llamas, deer and emus). Once inside the park we will pass a lagoon home to the Torrent duck and then continue to Petrohue River and Petrohue Waterfalls.

We then walk to Todos Los Santos Lake and enjoy a boat ride across the emerald water and onto Osorno Volcano. Here, we trek to the notable Burbuja Crater and a little further up the volcano we will be able to appreciate the Rojo Crater, both impressive and remarkable.

Alerce Andino National Park
Today we explore Alerce Andino National Park, the largest surviving Valdivian Rainforest. Most of the trees are native Alerce, one of the oldest trees in the world. Enjoy a moderate hike to get closer to these giant trees, some of them of around 3,000-4,000 years old.

We might be able to spot some native foxes, pudú (small Chilean deer) and the charming monito del monte (a small marsupial of South America).

San Pedro is located 8,000 ft above sea level in the middle of a green oasis. Later enjoy a spectacular evening exploring the Moon Valley and the Tres Marías viewpoint, a geological formation sculpted by erosive agents that look like statues of salt. On the way back, we visit the Mirador de Cari, located at 2,550 meters above sea level. Known as the "Piedra del Coyote", this viewpoint is one of the most famous views of San Pedro de Atacama, from where you can contemplate the majestic Andes Mountains.

Altiplanic Lagoons, Piedras Rojas and Chaxa
Before dawn we will head to Salar de Atacama and visit the Chaxa Lagoon, an oasis in the middle of a salt desert. Its waters surface show us a rich ecosystem home for many species of flamingos and other altiplanic birds. Continue to Piedras Rojas where you can observe copper-coloured rocks, as well as the surrounding lagoons and salt flats. After breakfast, we travel to the Altiplanic Lagoons - Miscanti and Meñiques, two lagoons with crystalline waters, surrounded by massifs that have a unique landscape.

Continue to the town of Socaire, famous for its crop soil for lunch and onto Toconao, built with volcanic rock and recognised for the spectacular views it offers of the Salar de Atacama.
